Gloria DiFulvio

Gloria DiFulvio is an assistant professor at Commonwealth College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. DiFulvio holds a particular interest in the translation of research to practice and helping communities to adopt and integrate current research and evaluation into their prevention strategies. Her current research focus includes understanding prevention strategies for alcohol and other drug abuse and violence. She also studies the patterns and prevention of mental health issues especially among young adults. She has served as the Senior Evaluator for the U.S. Department of Education’s Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse and Violence Prevention. Dr. DiFulvio received her doctorate in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
