The Jed Foundation Teams Up with Kenneth Cole for the Mental Health Coalition

JED is one of a number of organizations that has teamed up with Kenneth Cole to participate in The Mental Health Coalition. The Mental Health Coalition (MHC) was formed to draw attention to the pervasiveness of mental health related conditions and their magnification due to the related stigma.

The Coalition consists of the most influential and inspiring nonprofit organizations who are committed to empowering communities living with and affected by mental health conditions. They include: Active Minds, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (ASFP), Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, Bring Change to Mind, Child Mind Institute, Crisis Text Line, Headstrong, Mental Health America (MHA), National Council For Behavioral Health, The Jed Foundation, The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), The Trevor Project, Well Being Trust and many others.

These organizations will be working together to open conversation around mental health, reduce stigma, create community and inspire hope at an essential moment.

Check out the MHC’s resources and op-ed around COVID-19 and stay tuned for more updates and resources in the coming weeks.
