Seize The Awkward’s Let’s Talk: College Edition

A co-hosted, hybrid event with The Atlanta University Center Consortium, JED experts, celebrities, and community leaders.

On Friday, April 21 at 12:00 p.m. ET, Seize The Awkward kicks off its collegiate conversation series with the Atlanta University Center Consortium and HBCU member institutions: Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College. The one-hour conversation, Let’s Talk: College Edition, will engage Black teenagers, students, and young adults ages 18 to 24 to have honest, thought-provoking, and culturally responsive conversations about mental health in the Black community and will feature leading voices in entertainment (Camille Hill, actress, CW’s All American: Homecoming) and mental health (Dr. Khadijah Booth Watkins, Associate Director, The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Mass General Hospital; JED Advisory Board Member), as well as civil rights and urban advocacy organizations (NAACP and the National Urban League).
