Understanding Gender and Sexuality

Gender identity and sexual orientation are both important to how we see ourselves and how we have relationships with others. Gender identity is our own internal understanding of our gender, regardless of the biological sex we were assigned at birth. Sexual orientation is about who we are attracted to sexually. Both gender identity and sexual orientation exist on a spectrum, and anyone of any gender identity can have any sexual orientation.
